rugpijnwatnu.nl is an information site. We collect as little as possible and are transparent about what we do store.
The self-assessment is anonymous
Your answers to the self-assessment are stored without name or account, only to show your result and to improve the information on this site. We do not use tracking cookies and do not build profiles. While you are filling in the test, we keep your answers temporarily in your own browser so you can go back a step without losing them. Close the tab and they are gone.
Your email address, only if you enter it
After the self-assessment you can choose to receive your result by email. We only store your email address when you actively enter it and press send. It is used solely to email you your result, and, only if you separately ticked that option, to ask you once after 6 weeks how your back is doing. We never share your address and do not use it for marketing.
Retention period
The link to your result stays valid for 6 months; after that the result is no longer accessible via the link. Want your data removed earlier? Email privacy@rugpijnwatnu.nl and we will delete it.
Visit statistics, without cookies
We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It works without cookies and does not store your IP address. We only see which page was viewed, which site you came from, your country and region, and the type of device and browser. To count visitors, the service creates a temporary code that is discarded after 24 hours; no profile of you is built. The link to your result is counted without its unique part, so your result cannot be traced from it.
Who can access the data
Results are stored securely (Supabase, EU) and are not publicly readable. Emails are sent through our email provider (Resend). No data is sold or shared with third parties.
